| Customer Reviews: Amazing watch at an amazing price September 7, 2010 RMM I was in the market for a dress watch but didn't want to spend over $200. That's when I found the Stuhrling watches on Amazon. The Symphony Maestro II is absolutely fantastic. The fit is perfect, the design in gorgeous, and it operates flawlessly. Just as great as the form, fit, and function, is the price. At under $150, it's a steal for what you're getting. I've only had this watch a week, but if it goes the distance, my next will also be a Stuhrling.
Unique watch and great look September 3, 2010 detectivedough The watch was given to me as a gift and I absolutely love the look of the watch. It has a large face and really stands out and shines with a collared shirt sleeve. The only drawback is that in certain light, it is hard to tell the hands of the watch, but I think the unique look makes up for that.
Outstanding July 9, 2010 MBesek This watch is everything you could want and more. I have a smaller wrist size, and will not buy a watch with a dial size over 44mm. This watch comes in at 42mm, and is perfectly balanced with my wrist. It doesn't come across as too small, or too big.
I generally stick with only metal bracelet watches, and this is my first leather band watch. The band is comfortable, and breathes well. It's definitely not for a huge wrist individual though. I have it on the third pin position on the watch band. So someone who generally has the wrist size to support a 50mm watch or thereabouts will likely not find this band a good fit.
I was initially a little worried about the large crown size, but in person it's a nice size. The pictures on the site don't really do the watch justice. In person, every detail is beautiful and clear and even with all the dials, (Month, Date, Day, and 24-hour) it only took about 30 seconds to get everything set correctly.
I got a phenomenal deal on this watch, and couldn't be happier with it. It's sophisticated look lends itself to a fine suit, or something slightly above casual wear.
Couldn't be happier.
A Fantastic Timepiece March 20, 2010 A. J. Lubrino (New York, NY) I recently ordered this timepeice from stuhrling because I wanted I new watch that woudl look really sharp with a suit and tie, which I have to wear to work everyday.
After much research, I decieded on this one because It looked really nice, and had several features that I could only find in much more expensive brands, ( like the scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on the front and the back). futhermore, I had never had a mechanical watch, and always wanted one.
The first thing I noticed when I received the watch is that the pictures on Amazon do not do this watch justice. It is absolutely beautiful and complex, especially considering the price. I was also happy to learn that even with an Automatically winding watch, you can still wind it manually, so it will still continue to work even if your not doing a lot of moving around during the day. I haven't had it for very long, but so far it has also kept excellent time.
My only complaint is that my wrists are not that large, and could only get my buckle to the second loop on the strap, so those with large wrists may not be able to wear this model.
In short, if your considering purchasing a dress watch, but don't want to break the bank buying it, you should definitely put this stuhrling watch at the top of your list.
wonderfully aesthetic January 22, 2010 J.E.B. (Morgantown, WV) Had not realized how large 44mm dial would be, yet after wearing for a few minutes, it quite grew to me. wonderful watch for a nice price.
